• Password security — Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are cryptographically hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage. We cannot see or retrieve your password.
• Row-level security — Database policies ensure you can only access your own private data
• Encrypted connections — All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Secure authentication — Session tokens are securely managed by Supabase Auth

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Kept Words service
• Allow you to save and organise your kept words
• Display your public profile and public words to other users
• Send essential account-related communications (e.g., password reset)

We do not:

Public vs Private Content

You control the visibility of each word you save:

• Private words — Only visible to you when logged in. No one else can see them.
• Public words — Visible on your public profile page to anyone who visits it. You can change a word's visibility at any time.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data, including your profile and all saved words, within 30 days.
